How does High-Action Photography work?

We set up a schedule to cover games and tournaments on a regular basis. We come to your location and shoot the entire game or event. Then, we return to the office and upload the photos and post them to our web site. Photos are generally posted within a week of the event, but may take longer for events with numerous participants.

Do I have to pay to view my child's pictures?

No. All of our photos are available for previewing at no charge. Simply go to the Find Your Photos page and follow the instructions to find your pictures.

How can I get you to shoot our game?

You can request coverage by calling our office at 763.442.4270 for youth sports events or 763.218.3696 for equestrian events, or by filling out our coverage request form. We will correspond via email or telephone to let you know if we can cover your game. The further in advance you make your request, the more likely we are to be available that day.

Why have you only done one game the entire season?

If we shoot one game and no parents are interested in photos, we will not come back. Since we do not charge for coming out to your event, we can only afford to spend time at an event that will draw buyers. It is a simple matter of supply and demand.

Does High-Action Photography do Team Pictures?

While action photography is our specialty, we will shoot team and individual photos upon request. This request must be made when calling or emailing to set up the shoot.

How can I make sure you take photos of my child?

High-Action Photography also offers individual or small-group photography services where one of our photographers will come out specifically to shoot a particular athlete. To learn more, click here.

Do you cover complete tournaments, or just individual games?

High-Action Photography offers full-tournament coverage, as well as individual game coverage. You can request either form of coverage by calling our office at 763.442.4270, or by filling out our coverage request form.

What if I don't want to place my order on-line?

If you are uncomfortable with on-line ordering, you can order your prints by phone and send us a check through the mail.

The easiest way to do this is to visit our on-line photo gallery. Write down the code numbers of the images you want, the sizes, and the quantity. Then call us to place your order and we will give you a total price over the phone and you can mail us a check. Your images will not be processed until we receive payment.

I see references to DotPhoto. What is DotPhoto?

DotPhoto is our Internet partner who hosts the game photos on the Internet. They also operate the on-line store. When you order photos, you are paying DotPhoto, who in turn pays the photo lab, and then High-Action Photography.
